I was wondering why the Service Bullien? Did someone have a fuel line break?
In addition, for me, pictures are worth a thousand words. Maybe Pete or someone could post a picture of the area we are inspecting. Thanks for the help.

Diana,
There have been no leaks as far as I have been able to find out. They are just trying to head off a potential problem. I think that a couple of planes may have had chaffing in that area. I will try to get a photo up in the next few days.

Can an owner sign off this SB or does an A&P have to do it? Jon
Thanks Pete, hope to see the picture soon.

Agree 100%. Need pictures. Doing this to a SPORT CUB right now and the SB is just vague enough in placement of the relief cover to make one question where it goes. Post a picture!
Thanks for the reminder Clay, hope this helps.
The factory installed part I believe is the same part that is shipped in the SB kit. It is installed with the lip on the outside of the baggage versus the whole thing installed on the inside of the baggage if it is installed in the field. The reason being, at the factory this is put onto the baggage side before it goes into the airplane; much better access. So location is the same but you will see the flange on the top and bottom.
