Checked conections, fuses, voltage going to alternator & regulator, alternator is turning. How do you check the Alt/voltage regulator or can you? Any problems that I should be looking at first? Dont see anything obvious.
Thanks Chuck

its a sport cub.
Yes, I saw that it was in the CC11-100 section after I posted so deleted my post. The Sport Cub charging circuit is a bit more complex than the Carbon Cub one because it is an externally regulated alternator.
I have not run into much trouble with the Sport Cub charging other than issues with the fuse holders. If everything looks good there it might be the regulator. B&C is the manufacturer of that system, they can give you details on how to troubleshoot everything and determine exactly which component is misbehaving.

Any way charging system is working and just not getting to battery (fuse, fusable link) some where not obvious?B&C said he doesnt know whats wrong unless its the regulator and he has never seen one go bad.Everything has voltage were it is suppose to?Any ideas ? You would think if you have 12 volts at the regulator(only one + wire at regulator) it would be returning to the battery same wire.
Thanks Chuck
The only "weak link" I know of is the three 20am fuses. What kind of fuse holders are on your aircraft? There were several kinds used on the production line, some better than others. Black wire with black fuse holder, red wire with black fuse holder or small black box with clear cover that holds all three fuses...

Clear cover holds all three, checked both sides of fuses there good.I ordered new regulator hope thats it.Just wanted to make sure there wasnt something hidden i might have been missing.
Thanks
Chuck I had a regulator go bad at about 700 hrs
I seem to remember one or two other regulators. Its rare but not unheard of. Generally its easy stuff but sounds like you've checked everything else pretty thoroughly.
