Garmin GDU-375 Software Revision Updates?

I have also noticed that once you program a destination airport (waypoint) you must select it when you move from the map page to the WPT page....this used to be automatic......more frustration....

I stopped by Garmin today and they are aware of the problems with 8.7. They are running 8.7.1 beta in their booth because of the issues. Said 8.8 should be released in a couple weeks. I played around with 8.7.1 and the features I lost are working.

Well, I spoke to Pete at Cubcrafters and change Comm Port 2 to: TIS in/ NMEA out / VHF out.

Comm 1 is set to VHF out and Comm 3 is set to none.

All is working again except for the frequencies transferring to the SL40.... I wonder if the SL40 needs and update?

According to Garmin the problem of transferring a single frequency is an 8.7 software problem. Mine is doing the same thing. They hope to have a fix very soon. Apparently only SL40's are affected.

Thanks for checking that out David. I was not able to attend Airventure this year. I have found in the past that I can get more detailed answers to some issues if I am standing in front of the guy in the booth rather than someone on the phone.

They said they were going to fix the issue concerning direct transfer of radio frequencies from the Garmin GDU37X to the SL 40.

It DID fix the problem of direct transfer of a single frequency. I just updated my GDU-375 to V8.80 and it works!

Yes, it does transfer all frequencies when entering a direct to airport. I tested this as well as single frequency transfer!
